Dutch Oven Pulled Pork

- 2 lb Pork Butt, Shoulder, or Loin
- 1 tbsp Mustard
Seasoning Rub
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp Oregano
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1½ tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
Liquid Mixture
- 1 cup Apple Juice
- ⅓ cup BBQ Sauce
- 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
Preheat oven to 300℉.
In a small bowl, mix together all of the ingredients to make up your seasoning blend.
Spread a thin layer of mustard onto your pork before rubbing the seasoning blend all over, ensuring it's evenly coated. Let this sit for an hour to marinate.
Heat a bit of oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned pork and sear on all side until browned.
Once your meat is seared, pour in the apple juice, barbeque sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
Cover the Dutch oven with a lid and transfer it to the preheated oven.
Cook the pork for about 1 hour per pound of meat, or until it's tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
Once cooked, remove the Dutch oven from the oven and use two forks to shred the pork.
Serve the pulled pork on sandwiches, tacos, BBQ pizza or anyway you prefer, and enjoy the mouthwatering flavors!
