Shrimp Patties
- 12 oz Shrimp Peeled and deveined
- ⅓ cup Onion finely diced
- ⅓ cup Bell Pepper finely diced
- 2 tbsp Mayo
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 Egg
- ⅔ cup Italian Breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 2 tsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- Vegetable Oil
Bang Bang Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp Sriracha adjust to taste
- 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
Preparing the Shrimp Mixture
Finely chop the shrimp, leaving some small chunks for texture.
Combine chopped shrimp, Italian breadcrumbs, egg, onions, bell pepper, mayo, Dijon mustard, garlic, Cajun seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper in a large bowl. Mix well.
Forming and Cooking the Shrimp Patties
Form the mixture into patties. Place on a plate and chill in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Making the Bang Bang Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and rice vinegar until smooth.
Taste and adjust Sriracha for desired spiciness.
